Highcliffe Hawkes Recognised with Charter Standard Award

On Saturday Highcliffe Hawks YFC were awarded the ‘Charter Standard Club of the Year’ Award for the Bournemouth region

Created 40 years ago, Highcliffe Hawks Youth FC consists of 175 players, playing for over 14 teams.

(published in the awards programme)

The club enjoys playing in the Bournemouth Youth and Hampshire Girls Football Leagues, with the aim of letting boys and girls have fun playing sport in a safe supportive environment. Over the past 5 years, the club has recovered from dwindling support, primarily with thanks to the determination of Annie Hancock and Chris Morris. The club gained Charter League status in 2018, mainly due to the form filling capabilities of Ian Sarjeant, which they hope demonstrates that they are the best place for young players to enjoy their football.

The trophy was awarded by Rob England from Hampshire FA
